Description
Tonight at work we had casino night... totally beside the point except that I wanted to get a shot of myself behind one of the gaming tables, but that didn't work... lol so instead I came home and decided to set up a semi-permanant backdrop in my foyer. I look tired in this pic, which I am, but I liked how my shirt looked with no pants so it staysRelated content

Naughty girl, losing your pants! Well, your loss is our gain. This is a nice image. Conservative shirt and no pants. Long sleeves and bare legs. It is a great look. Modest and alluring at the same time, sexy and innocent. Very endearing. You look great here. Very pretty legs. And I like the cow. The photo wouldn't be the same without it.

hehe "...clearly I've lost my pants " I think that shirt looks lovely with nothing else on, it's got just enough of a men's wear feel to be like wearing your lover's clothes, but enough shape to really bring out the femine aspect

Very pretty. What did you use for the backdrop?

it's just fabric I think it's a silk/wool blend, but it's about 6' wide by 10' tall
I just pinned it into my entryway to make a makeshift studio

nice job and way to use what you have. I don't really have sheets I can use. Or maybe I need to find them lol
Whats the best way to make a simple home studio?

have an amazingly desisned apartment I lucked up there (I've since moved, darn) and my entryway was the perfect size for a studio set up... but really all you'd need is a free corner, or really a wall could do. Then I just used push pins to set it up, and I've got a 3 bulb floor lamp where the bulbs can be turned in different angles, so I set that up for lighting. for a wall or corner set up you'd probably need a bounce card/board to fix the shadows caused by lighting, but a simple poster board can do for that
hope that helps, that'd be my suggestion! (and fabric you can get cheap at walmart or hobby lobby, and then safety pin it to make it wider)

sounds like you landed in the perfect place!
Thats great tips. I'll have to copy and save them. My room is kinda small but I might be able to do something. Or use the living room or something. Thanks so much!

No problem and if you don't want to put pins in your walls, I just remembered this trick, you can just put the fabric over the top of a door and close the door
Course with that you're limited as to how wide a shot you can take and the poses you can have since doors aren't really wide, but for a lot of stuff that's no big deal

Thats a good one to remember to! Thank you. I might try that just to test things out. I don't know very many good poses myself actually and I'm not super flexible so I can't do fantastic stuff Like I'm sure you can.

lol I just pretend to be flexible and really I have no training or skills as far as modeling goes, it's just a matter of trial and error... I have literally thousands of pictures that are really not pretty, but I wouldn't say they're 'bad' because for each one I learn something new that does or doesn't work for me

Well you look flexible all trial and error huh? Suppose that goes with anything. I've taken time to do a bunch myself but honestly sometime I get sick of myself lol. Each one gets you closer to a new improvement though. Great job! You are pretty!
