yeah, its hdr which was processed in photomatix then a couple of slight adjustments in photoshop

...you should check out the tutorils on this site for tips and techniques. thats what i did when i first started and it helped a lot
on the off chance you aren't sure what hdr is...it stands for High Dynamic Range and is a blend of three (some times more) differently exposed pics. one normal exposure, one over exposed and one under exposed - how much over/under is up to you...once combined you get the details in the highlights and shadows that you may not have got from just one image......also known as 'bracketing' i think....hope thats some help top you.
