So as the comic says I've been wanting to do this for a long time, a few friendships in the past have hurt me before... nothing grand but made me rethink alot on what I consider in a friendship. By all means all friends wont be perfect. However I tends to consider alot on what I say to people.But really a few friends along the road have been a pain, which has caused me to break apart from them, and I know alot of you could be in a similar situation...
You all gotta remember, a close friendship with someone can vary between people. However you always have to remember no matter what you say to someone, you always have to consider the other.
If you tend to just go after friends by dumping all your feelings and then whine and complain to them when they try to open up to you...
YOU ARE NOT A FRIEND... B( You are an annoyance... A Friend would gladly listen to the other person and at least try to understand their situation and comfort them and vise versa.
You giving gift art to people in hoping they become friends with you and then expect to be BFF's and get stuff in return.
YOU ARE NOT A FRIEND! You are a freeloader that just wants free shit, you like someone on who they are, not on what they can do.Β Hope karma bites you in the ass.
When you are happily in love with this person's artwork and try getting so close to them the point you bad mouth everyone else for the sake of making yourself the most special little snowflake in the entire multiverse.

By all means. not all friendships will start like this, some friendships are rocky, some just click together but just remember. That the other person you do stuff with and share memories with is a person just like yourself, with thoughts and feelings. but consider how they treat you and everyone else...
We would want to treat others like we treat ourselves... with love and truth... (unless you hate yourself... then by all means seek some help owo no one should hate themselves.)

I don't mind listening to my friends when they need to rant, but I really don't like hearing crap about people I talk to.
I had a situation where a friend was constantly arguing with someone that I talked to on occasion. I didn't think it was a big deal and told XfriendX to avoid XaccuaintanceX, but for some reason XfriendX wouldn't, and kept telling me about all the horrible things that XaccuaintanceX said to Xfriend. I wasn't forced to choose sides but I started letting myself be influenced on my opinion of the XaccuaintanceX and treated them poorly without even asking their side of the story, until one day I found out that my XfriendX was lying, and had started more than half the disagreements between the two of them. When I became skeptical of what XfriendX said, XfriendX started treating me like I was being mean, or the enemy. I think breaking off that friendship hurt me more than any other friends I've lost, but in the end it was better for both of us.Β It'd be so much easier if everyone could just respect one another. They don't have to agree, but at least be courteous and not badmouth others.

Making people chose sides between friends is an extremely douchey thing to do. Not to say that you can't talk to your friend about things that you think they are doing wrong and give them an outsiders point of view on the issue, sometimes people are too stubborn to see when they are being a bag of dicks. I've heard that a false friendship is sweet like honey and true friendship should be clear like water, so a true friend will call you out on your bullshit.
I'm glad you are capable to shed toxic people from your life <3 ultimately if they can't respect you enough to not use you against your other friend then they aren't worth your time.

I usually find myself in separate types of friend 'groups', where one is totally different from the other. When i was little (elementary school?) i had little to no friends at all, but i'm pretty cure that was because i was the "awkward/weird kid", but that still effects me now because i have trouble knowing how to form friendships. especially irl, when i meet someone knew and i want to be friends with them, i have no idea how to act around them or what to say/do. the only reason i've got a few friends now is because friends of friends became friends to me since we'd hang out all together. but anyways, you speak the truth! The worst kind of friendship break-up is when it's completely out of the blue and the so called "friend" accused you of things you never did.

I don't have that much friends because so meany people where disrespectful of me and made fun of me and hurt me so much... I don't even like to consider people as friends anymore because I've been so hurt... And used.... Nobody truely understood me and my closest "friends" are the wonderful people online but I'm afraid if they knew me In rl I would be judged...Β

owo You never know until you try... after all meeting online friends in RL is a really interesting experience.
Ah with me its a little similar... Growing up I cant really recall any friends that stuck by me when I was little... usually it was temporary before they found someone they wanted to hang out or to impress. Friendship to me is usually trial and error... Heck I can still recall the many times friends to advantage of me, though in my case I usually let them to see how far would they go in taking so much for granted. XD
However despite how many times those friendships ended, I'm rather surprised how trust I was and how many times I was still willing to give a hand for new friends, guessing no matter how much I got damaged in a friendship I usually bounced back.
As of now I got really good friends online, and very few around RL, and I really enjoy their company when I talk with them. ^^ And a few I met in person... Its hard I know trusting people, I usually let my instincts and what I have learn in previous friendships to make sure things don't repeat again, but soon you manage to find a few good ones that are a lot more closer to your heart.

I've had to see good friendships slowly dissolve over time. There's a painful realization that comes when you suddenly get it, that you who were once so close to this person, just...aren't anymore. Sometimes its not even anybody's fault, really. It just...happens. People can just drift away. It's a somber realization.Β

yus... its actually sad... in some cases you have a friend that slowly changes into something worse then you can imagine.
Its like I always say, A person you think you know when you hang out in a group, can easily turn into a different person when you speak one on one with them. Its surprising really on how things turn out.

ah that's the thing with people, they believe when you are friends you'll immediately take their side...
owo sadly I'm not one to just go to one side without seeing the other. After the many experiences in my life taking a side I realize is never really a good option.

Of course, completely true. Real friends would never ask you to pick between them in a bad situation, if there's a problem it's theirs, not yours.

I know... I wish Klonoa had more fans, I've been looking at aΒ local flea market in hopes I can get the both Klonoa 1 and 2 ... I need to play it) pfft thanks as soon as I saw the hat on Klonoa's head, I knew I needed it. XD I had to make it myself though since there isn't a lot of merchandise for Klonoa here in the states.

You and me both. I've been spending a serious amount of time on World of Warcraft lately, ever since joining a Roleplay Guild
As for Klonoa, yeah he needs more love. I've only played the first game and it's great (though it gets pretty tricky later on @_@) and only played a demo of the second one. (As well as the GBA ones) It's a rare series here to, i've NEVER seen a copy of either game at any game store, even my local one that is all about old skool games. They have Atari 2600 games there and i've never seen anything Klonoa related =/
