However I decided to redo it when I saw the critiques I got from both my good friends, and
Plus now comparing the new one to the old one, the first one looks like an eyesore, plus this one is hella better. Remember people I came to DA to improve so the Critique was very helpful in fixing everything and for that I thank you.

I have to agree with everyone else, this is SO much better. The treee..... hnggh. I fail at trees and it's so hard to find a style with them, but the avenue you went for so works. And I do love how you fixed his shirt e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
What's darker could have even darker shades, and what's brighter could have even brighter, but you went with subtle and subtle is nice! Everything about this one is a million times better than the original. Though, I don't know if his hair would shine like that in front.... the anime-influence for that thurr hair shiny is a little distracting, being brighter than literally everything else.... There I go again being nitpicky ^^
Seriously this is a lot better, though. Would it be creepy if I let him bite me?? XD

Wow, where to even start?
Everything here is unified nicely, and I think this is one of the cleanest and most professional pieces you've done. Not only are the colors saturated and bright, but they all work coherently to add vividness to the picture. Even the color gradient of the background being flipped made a huge difference. (I didn't even catch that in the original, but now it's so noticeable.)
Awesome work with fixing that lighting source. Back light is often times the worst, and while I think you could have gone a little more dramatic with shading, you still did an excellent job making this a believable setting. It really feels like night in this picture, unlike the original.
Kid's pose is also so much more relaxed looking. He looks so much more natural and welcoming than the stiff and boring pose from before. All the lines, coloring, and elements work perfectly here. I mean, wow DAT TREE. XD I'm really glad you decided to line everything this time and I feel like it definitely made everything pop out more. Little details like the weight of the frills, the tucked in shirt, and the opaqueness of his drink also help make this piece work with the vampire motif.
Again, this is a great style for you. It feels so much cleaner. Plus, Kid looks adorable in this style. It works really well for both you and your character.

WOW to begin with ! I love the glossy parts of the picture, u did a amazing job with this redo , I love the pose as well, it's a very imaginative picture
The eyes are so realistic and full of light color they look amazing! The clothes have the just right look and color as well, the skin color is just perfect , ur art truly is amazing, I have to say the hair is so very realistic and the texture is so good! U are a artist with a positive, and imaginative mind keep up the good art
