Niche: Parrotfish
Planet of origin: Rubidia

Description: A medium sized herbivore, the seraphin bears a very close resemblance to the sea dragons of Earth. Equipped with a proboscis, the seraphin can easily forage through the sand for its primary food source of seeds as well as other aquatic vegetation which they crush with their strong, beak-like jaws. But despite their herbivorous diet, seraphins have been known to occasionally prey on other creatures, primarily crustaceans. Despite their imposing appearance, seraphins are actually pretty harmless and would rather run than fight. The large fins on their back are used as threat display to scare away any potential by making themselves look bigger.
