Terracaris originally evolved on planet Ipaàm They occupied a niche similar to an Earth rodent or lagomorph, Though a bulk of their diet is composed of plant life and seeds, they won't ever pass up the opportunity to catch smaller prey and carrion, They are competent climbers. Not the best of the bunch, but good enough to flee from danger by climbing trees, to aid them in climbing they might stick out one of their back legs for balance, mimicking a tail. They are predated upon many other lifeforms which make them very aggressive and territorial, although they are good fighters for an animal of their niche, they can scratch attackers with their hooked and sharp hands as well as standing on their back legs to appear more menacing, yet they are territorial with their own species, they live in groups yet fights are common, in combat with others they will stand on their back legs and punch each other boxing style, The winner gets whatever they were fighting for. Their eyesight is very developed, thanks to their compound like eyes, although not exactly compound. As previously mentioned before they are tree climbers, although not the best. But they have been forced to climb trees more often in this new world they have been forced to in their natural habitat. They have started to adapt to do so more efficiently to escape from their many new predators and competition, this new habit may lead their lineage to a great future, but only time will tell though.
They have hollow bones made out of a copper , which makes them very light for an animal of their size, yet their bones are strong as they are made out of metal. Their flesh and blood is a dark blue because it contains hemocyanin, which contains copper. Under their head they have a small retractable mouth which is ussually hidden from view, it resembles a proboscis.
