Wow! I just read through part 1, and thought I'd come back to comment here. I really like your wolf style, it's realistic, but still unique.
I love Riku's eyes, they look awesome!

You should continue, I'm really curious on what happens next. It seems that Riku and Ren won't be killed, yet. They're needed for something. And I think the shadow wolves are after them because of something with their non-wolf parents. I'm also suspicious of the green wolf, since there was a green tinted wolf with the shadow wolves. Plus I didn't see him dead in the one page where everyone was dead. He might be evil...
I also really like the concept of the shadow/ghost wolves. They're demon-like, but one appeared with fur in one frame. Did he steal it off of some other wolf they killed, or are the shadow wolves really normal wolves? 
Oh, and one other question. Did little Nalu get killed? I didn't see him/her die, so I wasn't sure.
Anyway, I'm glad I could help motivate you, and I hope more people will do the same. It would be great to see a part 2, and maybe 3 or 4.

For the shadow-wolves... I had a info-page about them somewhere XD *can't find it at the moment*
Those ghostwolves once were normal wolves. Their souls got stolen after they died and set into soulstones that make it possible to control them. Their bodies don't reflect the light that's why they are totally black except their eyes. The teeth of them are parts of corpses, so they also are visible.
Some ghostwolves wear other parts of corpses like the fur. The more parts a ghostwolves wears the higher gets his rank. ^^ There are also ghostwolves with fullbody-replacements, sometimes with their own bodies. (like for example Castaron, visible in this picture: naokohara.deviantart.com/art/I… )
I can't give you an answer if Nalu got killed or not ^^ Well i could... since you also could read it in the old pages of the comic XD But I don't want to spoil anything ^^
There actually is a Part 2 (and the start of Part 3) but those pages are old XD Very old... from 2009/2010.
On the Cover-page of the comic is a link to my second-acc there you can find the old chapters. But only if you have no problem with the terrible look of those pages XD
The story will stay the same ^^ But maybe you'll like to wait until I get there with my current drawing style... since it will take more than 70 pages until I get there XD
And more chapters are planned ^^ ( I will not tell you how many cause you will call me insane then XD )

Woah. You have a lot of in depth stuff planned for this comic.
It makes sense that the ghostwolves would steal others fur. Since they don't have any anymore, and it's like a prize. That's kinda creepy though. Like wearing a mask of some one else's skin. Or your own dead skin.
Nalu lives then! I think. Or got turned into a ghostwolf pup. Or something. Anyway they come back later in the series. I half expected Riku to grab him/her(?) before he ran, but he didn't. When Nalu first appeared, I expected there was a ghostwolf waiting behind the tree controlling the pup, and that the pup was already dead and just a corpse or something. There was a ghostwolf there, but I don't think he was waiting, I think he just ran up behind them. That would've been creepy if Nalu was really dead.
I kinda want to go read the old chapters, just to find out what happens, but I kinda want to see it in this style too. Maybe I'll read both.
I'm sure you're not insane. It would be great to have like 70 chapters, or whatever. It would just take forever. And ever... and ever.... Especially with all the detail you put in your pictures. They look awesome!
Can't wait for the next page, I want to know where the ghostwolves will take Ren and Riku.

You bet. If you look at my comic, I kept the cover to a cartoon style except it has light shading. Not a lot. The inside comic will be a even more cartoon like though. I just love 90's cartoons!

LOL im sorry but the contrast between the title and the image is pretty darn humorous, I had to comment.
Here is a graphic design tip from a professional in the field:
Your font is pretty illegible -- meaning its hard to read, and since its a book, you want people to be able to read it right? Perhaps when you can alter some colors on the painting to bring the font out a little? or maybe paint a banner or find an element or theme of the book that you can symbolize and use as a backdrop for the title. Just a few suggestions.

The contrast comes just because it's just the chapter-cover ^^ not of the whole comic. The front-page-cover is not yet finished.
And you're right with the font. I'm still checking out some different styles. I will deppen this when I have more time again

hmmm Touche, now if i can only put my story up, too bad its too long, and tht when i get enough skills to draw, i shall do alot to make it. trust me, in my story, is too dark for a kid like me, trust me, even adults are hooked on it, more than fonix. Well the thing is, i hope urs is dark, i enjoy dark stories. Im really really creative in stories, best story teller in my whole school, and always have been u know, from kinder to know the 11th. need help im here, trust me, i made ppl cry as well
