How do you make those shiny effects on the armor like the one on the helmet and the shoulder? please let me know asap, i would love to know how?

It's pretty simple. Make a small circle with the Oval tool (O), but delete the outlines. Then, transform the white circle in a Symbol (F8). There will be a box in the tools section (bottom right, on the default layout) where you can add and manage Symbol options. Click the "Add Filter" button in the Filters box and add Blur. Pick High quality in the dropbox and change the blur radius as you will. I don't remember if adding a Glow filter could make it nicer, but you can just play with it as you want.
