This is so beautiful, because so many people can relate to it. We've all met that one extremely talented artist younger than us, that made us feel 'late to the party', like there was ever even a standard age to jump on the art bandwagon. We've all looked at that particular super-ultra-detailed-impossibly-awesome picture, possibly with a shading that left us with our mouths drooling, only to think 'I'm never going to reach that level'.
But it's trying, trying and trying again that makes us create things we would have never even though we could do. As hard as it is to believe, those people with an amazing gallery that we admire so much are not gods. They are just people that, to quote the now famous song by Shakira, 'tried and reached the end, and then started again'. We all could be one of them.
I, myself, am at the very first stages of my creation journey, so don't worry about me being some wise veteran giving advice to the recruits. xD
Remember, we're all in this together :3

Sometimes I forget how important this is. I've come a long way in my art, and I have so much room for improvement. I must be grateful for all the people who have supported me all these years and for all the people who have served as my inspiration, whether they are younger than me or not. I wouldn't be where I am today without either of them.

Even years after this was made this still gets me good, and i still cry. It hits so close to home.. And this means so much to me. Time and time again, i find my self back here and i have to remind my self i'm not as shitty as i think.

Thank you a lot for making this. This really inspires me a lot. My drawing is really bad, but Im trying everyday to make it better. Im trying to draw full body now and it's just so hard, seeing people's "quick sketch" sometimes make me feel bad about myself, but after reading this, my heart is once again filled with determination.

I came around to the internet and poof this appears and beholds me. The first thing that came into my head was "a cutie comic" then it was getting deep and this is so far been quite accurate of what I have been going through. Brought me motivate to keep going on my art even more. Haven't really thought of the idea but I am quite glad I took the time out and read it peace by peace.
