Description Here is a short but more detailed chapter on my Comic:

The Revenant emerged from hyperspace within a flash. The massive Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer was on a mission to find a planet for setting up a new well hidden base and to find more survivors from the battle of Exegol one year ago. Meanwhile, the young Sith Acolyte Sabio had personal assignment on Mustafar and would return after his succession. The First Order was in disarray, but General Vaaska, the commanding officer of the Revenant, was determined to keep her ship and crew alive in these trying times.

On the bridge, she watched the sensor display as a blip caught her attention. It was a large vessel, moving slowly through the asteroids. She zoomed in on the image and identified it as a Pretorian mining ship, a civilian craft that harvested minerals from asteroids and planets. It was unarmed and unshielded, an easy target for the Revenant’s 1500 turbolasers and ventral cannons.

“General, we have a contact,” reported Lieutenant Stantha, the sensor officer. “A Pretorian mining ship, designation PMV-743. It appears to be carrying a full load of ore.”

Vaaska frowned. She knew that the Pretorians were a neutral faction, not aligned with either the First Order or the Resistance. They were opportunists, selling their minerals to the highest bidder. “Scan their cargo,” she ordered. “See if they have anything to hide. Weapons or Resistance scum.”

“Yes, General,” Stantha said, adjusting his console.

The captain, a grizzled man named Rix, was in his cabin unaware, checking the latest market prices for the minerals.  Pretorians were always looking for new sources of income and influence.
The mining ship crew was startled by the sudden appearance of the Revenant. They had hears rumors but never seen such a huge and menacing Star Destroyer in person.

Meanwhile, beside the Star Destroyer, were a group of TIE fighters. One of them was piloted by DT-3350, a young and eager pilot who survived many skirmishes. He was eager to prove himself to his superiors, especially General Vaaska, whom he admired and respected. He had heard rumors that she was planning to save the last of the First Order survivors.

DT-3350 looked out of his cockpit window and saw the mining ship on his viewscreen. The ship was surrounded by a cloud of debris and dust, indicating that it had been working for a while.

DT-3350 felt a surge of excitement. He wanted to engage the ship, to show his flying skills. He decided to contact General Vaaska directly and ask for permission to attack. “General, this is DT-3350,” he said over his comlink. “I have visual on the contact. Requesting permission to engage.”

There was a brief silence on the other end of the line. Then General Vaaska’s voice came through.

“Negative, DT-3350,” she said sternly. “Do not engage the mining ship. Our scanners reveal it is not a threat to us.”
