Description
Even in a time where the utility of Mobile Suits on the battle field is a relatively new and radical concept, the Trekker ranks pretty low on combat effectiveness. First introduced to replace the H-1 Hummer as a global multi-purpose light combat vehicle, the design has had a hard time keeping up with rapidly advancing weaponry. While the V-12 engine, 4-wheel drive and steer transmission does make the Trekker quite agile, it is severely lacking in firepower. Even though a single round from any mobile suit weapon is capable of ripping the little car in half, is remains in the UNAF inventory as its 30 mm autocannon is still very effective against infantry and light to medium armor.
