Nice shot! I just shot some cherries recently myself,
I like the little water drops and the reflection of the cherries.

Yeah I was just thinking back to this shot actually when i saw your bubbly cherries. What you could try is getting a nicely coloured background, and setting one cherry at the bottom of the bubbly container with its stalk upwards. setting the camera to a large appature, ie f8, focussing on the cherry and snapping away. You can get some interesting shots that way even in natural daylight and even by using a black background. Use a tripod to get the cherry in pin sharp focus.

lol my initial though was something along those lines, but I found my cherries kept floating to the top.
I may try it again someday though, it's all a trial and error learning process.

I love the crispness of the detail. The slight reflection from the glass is perfect. The lighting is mysterious but straight forward. Lovely. It makes me want to eat cherries. :]

I love this! Although I would have liked to see it without the water on the cherries. It might just be me, but I didn't notice that it was water at first, it just looked like specks of white. Also, I think you have a strong enough image with just the black and bold red of the cherries, you don't really need that extra element. Very nicely composed!

thanks, i like the water droplets personaly as they ad a freshness to them and juicy look, guess thats why i took it as is but i agree with your view, would still look strong with just the black and red cherries. thanks for taking a liking to the photo.
