Description
A part of my Wing and leg study, this is the latest bit. I'm happy with the overall shape, but not with the forarm. I don't think the scales and shading are "bad", persee, but I don't think they're nearly as good as the scales and shading on the inked portrait. However, I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. I'll keep at it though, be sure of that.Related content

very cool bro ,just to ask, why is the wing so dark? If you added some light., highlights and those dark area it would make the work pop. this is only a suggestion. Still nice progress.

Mm, you're right. The thing is, I use the same shading for the arm as the wings, and if it's not that dark, the scales don't show properly. I'll try adding highlights in future.
