Description
Shushing sounds from the hissing watersputter down my slick skin
as the shower grows
cooler and the shivers expand-
I barely have time to rinse.
There's a hint of lavender scent in the
mists of steam,
sudsy blossoms that bead on my dripping head.
There it goes, down the drain,
something I won't remember soon.
You must see the
Reflections of my thoughts on
the silver tap;
your eyes sucking my breath like
the soapy water down the clogged pipes,
rasping through drizzled drains.
Rusty water grinding to a halt.
Slip of wet toes on dewy tiles.
I am dripping down myself and slapping
cool ground,
disintegrating in the turgid silence,
pregnant with hope
or remorse
wishing as I watch
the droplets melting into air:
think of me, lovely;
think of me tonight.

It has a wonderful flow, and could almost be sung, like an ode. It rings with emotion. However, the rhythm seems a bit erratic.
