Description memories slip us by
as we wait in the stream of time,
the slick river oasis
that washes clean the
scent of suffering
and tragedy's touch:

we wait for the moon's sigh.

breath of air
puffs the clouds away
the stars sneeze and
ethereal, far away dust
disperses, wafting past
galaxies of pain,
a universe of regret:

the sun cries in the earth.

lemon drop scurries past
pure puffs of cotton cloud
alighting on the branch
of a turgid lightning bolt,
caught in the web of a storm
about to strike:

          it smells of thunder.

drops hiss by
and slap the frozen ground,
crushing the stone in a
death-grip,
hugging tight and
waiting for their star
to take them back to
her warm embrace:

          there is hope.

life slips by
on a bed of swollen tears,
and a star hits your lips:

          it brings us home.

The way you used your choice words was so good. I mean, really good. The imagery was stunning methinks
The ending part really did it for me though It was just perfect :]
