where i live it was suppose to happen in 6:15 AM or 12:15 PM... and it didnt. People were like "OMG THE WORLD WILL TOTALLY END!!!!!!!" and i am like in my head "SHUT UP!" so yeah... but cool stamp by the way. Your stamp collection is awesome, keep up the hard work

Actually, I just read today that the Mayans were marking the end of their 5,000+ year cycle thingy. Evidently, they didn't mean today as an apocalypse. xD We keep getting these things messed up! lol

Actually, there are a couple facts about the Mayan calendar that usually get "confiscated."
1. The Mayan calendar is more accurate than any other known calendar. (Well, then why not use it, one might ask.)
2. The Mayans themselves knew they miscalculated. By 200 years. The Mayan calendar ends 21st December, 2012.
3. The Mayans declared the end of their calendar would mark the BEGINNING OF A NEW AGE, not the end of the world. So yeah.
