Done for this stamp contest: Edit: I didn't winFeel free to use it on dA, no need to ask, but please fave it if you do!
Please DO NOT upload this anywhere on or outside dA without my permission.
Thanks a LOT for all those faves people, I didn't expect that much on a static stamp!
After getting so many 'nihihi' comments and people telling me to get a MAC, I think I should clarify that my PC doesn't freeze, but if it did, I would hate it.

Pay $700 extra for a Chinese factory-made computer with a buggy OS no one programs for? And I suppose you want me to get a Fermi while I'm at it.

My Mac has never frozen or been "buggy". In fact, all my friends who own Windows have bought a Mac and love it.
But when you get down to it all computers are the same. It's just that Windows ripped Apple off with Windows 7. *thumbs up*

You know how long it takes Apple to fix a bug? 4 months. You know how long it takes Windows and most software companies to fix their bugs? No more than two days. And OS X has had many, many long lasting bugs. Don't know of them? Just scroll through [link] and it'll tell you enough.
And Windows didn't exactly rip Apple off. You know how many Dock programs are out there? I'm using one right now. It's called catching up, not ripping off. I suppose you think Microsoft ripped off Apple for using overlapping windows as well.

I'd roll through that but since my computer doesn't have any bugs I don't really care.

Well I was gonna make a long post but I'll just say;
"lol"
Read some real industry media (not random internet sites) and some scientific/academic journals and don't believe everything you see on the internet, mmkay? :3

Uh, I do. And along side that I've seen how many things Apple censors just to keep an image. You wouldn't believe the things I've seen. Some of them are probably exaggerated, but I know some are also true.

Yes, and OSX is also not the buggiest system out there, and Apple take security very seriously and roll out updates very quickly as well. OSX is the most secure out of the box commercial solution.
You were saying about buggy and 4month updates?

Where did you hear that? Apple website I presume.
Well let's see, the more popular OS X gets, the more viruses are made for it. And since Apple claims OS X is virus free, no one will get an Antivirus for it. I already have a friend who has a Macbook riddles with Spyware.
Also, I bet you didn't know OS X is made of a STOLEN FreeBSD. They stole a Unix system and dressed it up.

Errr... No... I heard it from several of my lectures who have massive experience in the industry - all of them with doctorates and one of them used to work at TRW and another who used to work for the US government but is now retired. I also read quite a lot of academic journals as part of my university course.
Yes I know that OSX is a UNIX based operating system - thats very, very, very common knowledge
Mac OSX is built on-top of Apple's own Darwin Unix system (which they offer the source code for on their site). Apple's Darwin Unix uses a hybrid kernel which is built from elements of NetBSD and FreeBSD and technologies acquired from NeXT - Then on-top of Darwin, Apple implement the APIs and the Finder GUI that makes Mac OS10 (branded as OSX). Non of it is stolen |:
It's built up form open source and closed source material. Before you say "BUT OPEN SOURCE SHOULD BE FREE! I DON'T WANT TO BUY OSX TO GET THE SOURCE!", the source for Darwin Unix is available from the Apple developer site for free.
If you were as educated in the subject as you say you are you would know this already |:

Yes, because god forbid if you have to download 2 or 3 programs when getting a new computer. Just pay the extra $700.
Oh fuck who am I kidding I'm just a troll. But sill you have to agree that paying 150% for a shiny entombed Dell is a rip-off. Hackintoshes are excusable.

150%?
Where the hell have you been looking?
Don't know (nor do I care) about the USA pricing, but here in europe they are very fairly priced machines. £1,794 for a core i7 All-In-One machine? Or £1,899 for a Xeon workstation? YES PLZ!
Hackintosh computers are inexcusable more like it. OSX crashes like crazy on non-apple hardware.

Hmm, actually I forget the price percentage. I haven't been right as of late, my mind is going with the rest of me. But I know they make them for cheap in the same Chinese factories that make Xboxes and Wiis, and yet they sell them for x2, or even x3 of the price for something you can build by yourself with the same specs. For instance, a decent Mac Mini is about $1000 US, where as my computer, equipped with a Phenom II x2 and a ATi 4670, is about x3 better than that, for exactly half the price ($500 US). It isn't cheap parts either, they're high quality. Unless the OS costs roughly $500, it's a rip-off. And I know the OS doesn't cost $500.

Apple gear does seem far more expensive in the USA than Europe.
Only certain parts are manufactured by AsusTek in China. I know that the Apple gear for the UK is manufactured in Ireland.
