patience is decreasing generation after generation...

I really don't think it is a question of patience between generations.
It is a question of making technology enhancements accessible for everyone.
I don't know if you realize, but saying to people who have the slowest connexion they are inpatient is like telling "You lack patience" to farmers who complain because they want a tractor and have only a bull.
Of course, there were many people happy with a 56kb connexion fifteen years ago. But it was simple to browse internet with it, then.
Nowadays, there are still millions of people who endure this connexion, because they are too remote from the telecom central. And while everyone else's connexion was becoming a thousand times faster (that's not a joke, 100Mb connexion is precisely 1800 times faster), the average weight of web pages was constantly increasing too.
According to HTTP Archive, this average weight went from 14 KB in 1995 to 93KB in 2003, 300 KB in 2008, 702 KB en 2009 and it has now reached the megabyte.
Given that in many countries you can't work or do anything without the web, my point is that when people complain because of their slow connexion, they are far from being inpatient (I dare you to have the patience to wait 35 minutes to receive a couple pictures by e-mail): they are victims, they are true leftovers of modern societies.

Well patients is a virtue thats what makes a good artist a good artist. You need patience the more the better with subjective. Even with scribbles you need to plan to make it a great piece of art.

Indeed, I quite agree with that !
But I doubt one can apply such art principles to everyday life.
Personaly, I am okay with my connexion, and if it takes an hour to upload a picture on my gallery, it leaves me time to write a good description.
But you can't say that people who complain about their slow connexion are inpatient. Most of them aren't artists, and even if they did they are legitimate to complain.

Uh huh. I agree so much. (we have Roadrunner Turbo but sometimes it slows to a halt then too. Usually on THIS site. Really no issues with other sites.)

I can't even properly write a comment on youtube because it takes ages for the letters to catch up and when I go too fast, it just stops and I need to write it all over again D: Well, that probably just has to do with my laptop itself, but it can still get annoying. I guess I just need to dump all the crap on my laptop, but I'm quite lazy
