that and what about page not responding when i first got firefox it used to be the fastest for me but some how updating made it slower to the point it made the hole computer hangup not crashing but it made other programs hang where you tried to exit anything it took 3 min's for it

yeah ever since i updated i been getting nothing but page not responding that and now when i updated my plugins i been getting a loop sound on most youtube and flash games i get the sound when i scroll down move my mouse or switch to another tab

Have you also been keeping your video drivers updated?
When those get outdated, it can screw up quite a few websites. YouTube is the most common one.
If FireFox keeps messing up, you might consider trying another browser. I've been hearing about more people switching to Google Chrome and Opera. A brave handful reverted back to Internet Explorer.

well can't really do any window updates or any driver updates anything like that on my computer cause well i got a 7 year old xp pro but i don't really know what ver i have. The last time i updated a windows update crashed my hole system but also i think i downloaded the same adobe more then once cause windows told me to update and firefox told me to update
