Simple and well laid out, using a B&W exposure was a good idea for this one, I think. I especially like the shadow effects on the scroll of the shell, and right under the right edge. Well done!

I'm not sure what kind of sand it is. It's just beach sand that I bought at the store.

Hey, no problem! That was the answer I was looking for anyway, I was just curious if it was Silica sand, Olivine or something odd like that. The texture to it is very fine and even, which made me curious. I rather like the subtle texture it adds to the picture as a whole, I might have to try that as a background some time.
