The scuffle it had taken to keep him from meeting with the same fate that had taken the life of his groupie had left him with a small gash just above his left brow that dripped a steady trickle of blood down his damp face. Riff Raff had been overpowered, his weapon rendered useless, and he and Magenta hadn't dared move a muscle since Columbia had fallen.
While his master had attacked the mutinous handyman - half in self-preservation and half in rage at the fact Riff had thought he was allowed to destroy what was not rightfully his - Rocky had attempted to cower behind Janet, although while Frank had been unaware, she, her...male and Dr Scott had fled (in spite of the fact that they were partially nude and, in two of three cases, in drag) leaving the perpetually bamboozled Adonis standing looking pathetic and afraid, still in the center of the stage.
"You killed her..." Frank's bloodied, partially made-up glance fell on the offender after he'd spent a while mentally debating whether or not he should comfort Rocky. He'd decided against.
"Master-"
"Do I look as if I want to hear any of it?" Frank snarled, trying and failing to take a decent look at Columbia's frighteningly still body, lying face up across the floor. Her eyes were half-shut, her mouth ajar; her limbs spreadeagled with one hand across her face. He had to look in order to accept the reality. But he couldn't. He, Dr Frank N Furter, prince of the planet Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania - shameless destroyer of the hearts of man, woman and whatever else he could find - couldn't bring himself to keep his eyes upon the corpse of the girl he could have sworn to the Lord he didn't give a shit about.
The stillness was what made it so unsettling and strange. She'd been so energetic and fidgety to the point it was almost obscene - even in sleep, she was never unmoving, constantly wriggling and muttering under her breath. But now...not a thing.
He cast Magenta and her groveling brother aside, treading with his legs shaking at the knees towards Columbia. He smeared some of the blood across his cheek with the back of his hand, numb and unflinching to the rest of the world, as if he were momentarily existing within a dream.
He had always been so vile to the child. He'd blown her off more times than he could count. Worse still, he'd insulted and abused her when another caught his attention or he grew sick of her, and he hand't felt even a twinge of guilt as he'd heard her making excuses about the bruises to Magenta the next day. Yet she'd always come straight back when he called, like some kind of unconditionally affectionate puppy covered in sequins. He had viciously murdered her boyfriend - the only individual who had cared a jot about her in the final chapter of her short life - right in front of her eyes, yet she'd still virtually forgiven him for it - or so it seemed to him at least, - even after she'd been tricked into eating said boyfriend.
When she and the servants had come through the hole in the laboratory wall and she had aired her opinions for the first time,. she had spoken nothing but truth to him. But it hadn't been truth he hadn't wanted to hear, and what had he done but turned her to stone and forced her to parade herself in the floor show that had ultimately killed her.
Ultimately, she had died for him. Had she not screamed - deliberately or not - it would be his corpse sprawled on the floor in place of hers. She would still be happy in her bedazzled, hyperactive, tap-dancing existence, and he would be...well, he didn't care to think.
And what exactly had he done to deserve her sacrifice? Fuck all for all he knew. He had no idea. What exactly had she seen in him? Even he - his own single greatest admirer - was struggling to see his redeeming qualities.
He was on his knees now, and after the obligatory closing of her sightless eyes, he found himself clutching her hand in his; he felt ill inclined to do anything more. She deserved better.
She was still sopping wet, only now stone-cold to the touch and completely inanimate. Frank had not cried once since the age of twelve years old, and he prided himself on the fact. But even as he told himself that she mattered nothing to him; that he had Rocky; that he didn't need her; that she was in a far better place - he was beyond any sort of lies he could come up with and force himself to believe as the truth.
For the first time in a very, very long while indeed, on the evening of the absolute whirlwind of a day that had confounded, shocked, amazed, ruined and ended several people, himself included, Frank N. Furter shed a tear. And over one who he'd been sure he had no care for at all in the world.
He knelt on the stone floor, riverlets of tears and eyeliner and blood streaming down his face, shaking and weeping and holding the dead hand of the girl who'd given his life for him.
Murmuring helplessly, he brought his face an inch from hers, though he didn't allow his poisoned lips to touch her. Hos voice was a whisper; barely existing, and inaudible unless you were centimeters away from him.
"I'm sorry, Collie...I truly am..."

In the finale of the sequel series to my fanseries, Rocky Horror Dream Stage, Rocky Horror Lovely Spotlight (the series finale was first shown as a movie entitled "Rocky Horror Final Stage", something similar to this scene happens, EXCEPT after Frank says "I'm sorry, Collie, I truly am..." (he's apologizing for putting her through trouble as a magical girl in my version, as my fanseries is a magical girl adaptation of the movie), Columbia's Pendant of Hope (a necklace given to her by Magenta that has magical powers that help or hurt Columbia, but it mostly does good for her and protects her from bad things) uses its' last bit of magic to save her life (although it protected her from anti-matter at the end of series one and several times in series 2) and gives her a final power up form that is angelic and beautiful and allows her to purify the evil thoughts of Riff Raff and Magenta and sends them back to the Old Queen to punish them for their deeds. After sending Riff Raff and Magenta back, she appears as a spiritual form in front of Frank N Furter, Brad Majors, Janet Weiss, and Rocky Horror and says a tearful goodbye and leaves. At the end of the finale, we learn that Columbia didn't actually die after her battle, and like in the finale of series 1, she has no memory of being a Transexual Mage or meeting Frank N Furter, Rocky, Riff Raff, Magenta, or any other Transylvanian person or enemy of the Transexual Mages that she fought, but she is friends with Brad and Janet (I changed their ages to be around high school age in this series, and Columbia is around 16 when the first series began, and is 18 at the end of series 2), who attend her high school, and she eventually graduates with them. She still has the Pendant of Hope, but it doesn't have any more magic left in it, unlike it did at the end of series 1 (but Columbia was unaware of this until the first episode of series 2, when she heard Frank N Furter's voice come out from the pendant, asking her for help). Her parents tell her they got the pendant as a present for her in case she returned home again. Columbia was also told that Eddie died in a motorcycle crash rather than what she actually saw during series 1. She does get a new boyfriend during season 2, but since Frank learned his lesson from the Eddie incident, he doesn't even bother killing him, and makes him a "friend to the Mages" (although Brad and Rocky are the only boy Transexual Mages, oddly enough). Her boyfriend's memories of Transylvanian things are also erased, and his Mage Mobile (the cellphones the Transexual Mages get in Series 2) vanishes. However, at the end of the finale, her boyfriend does give her a familiar looking outfit as a present that he found in a costume shop: it's a costume that looks identical to her Mage form (which looks like the "Time Warp" costume she wears in the film).
I think that Columbia screamed because she honestly had no one to love after Eddie died...and Frank was the only one she loved that was still alive besides Magenta. I think she was still a bit brainwashed from the floorshow hypnosis, since everyone was forced to think "We should only love Frankie...". I hope a remake of this film fixes Columbia dying, or a TV series based on the film like my example above.

Awesome!
Goddamn you, that theory made me cry a little Personally, I think any remake can go die in a damn hole because for me, it's the campiness and general crappiness of the film and its effects that sells it for me - it just makes it so much more...well, ROCKY, and any remake would probably redo and CGI everything. Like, can you honestly imagine a version of Frank's lab that isn't pink bathroom tiles and a thing that looks like a cross between a fishtank and a submarine? I think not. Also, Columbia in my mind can never be anyone but Nell or Joan Jett, ditto Frank and Tim Curry (if I HAD to cast him in a new one, he'd be Eddie Izzard because reasons.) But yeah, if they have to remake it, keep the groupie. Like, she could just waltz out with the other earthlings and it wouldn't harm the story a bit.

Sorry to tell you the bad news (you may have already heard this), but there is a remake coming to TV. You may have heard of this controversy on my Tumblr as Rocky HorrorGate 2015. I am making a story called Frank vs. Rocky HorrorGate 2015, where Columbia and Frank go on an adventure to stop Kenny Ortega from making the remake. I may have to wait after making the first or second part for the outcome of the project (if it will continue or not). I don't care about the outcome of the movie, but I am excited. I just think everyone against this project needs to relax for a minute and stop complaining. Sure, the actors can't be replaced, but let's hope the new actors try their best.

Yup, I've heard it, and I'm not happy Oh my god, that idea sounds perfect! I know, I need to calm down a little. But RHPS and a lot of the original cast (Nell especially) have helped me through so much and I do't want to see that fucked over by a remake ('scuse my language
)

I honestly wish Frank would've killed Asshole 2; he shouldn't be getting off scot-free.
I think you wrote Frank N Furter's feelings and emotions very well here.

I think he will kill him later; more violently and with more blood. The laser looks too humane. Nobody kills Collie and gets away with it, dang flabbit!
Thank you Irs hard to write emotional scenes with a buy and large emotionless character (hence why none of my Rana stories include her being upset over anyone but herself), so I'm glad you like it

Hooray! You shall be avenged, Columbia!
You're welcome! Although, would it be fair to say if Chalice died, would Rana show signs of some sadness?

Rana: Oh, abso-fuckin-lutely. It'd be largely internalised - I don't want anyone to think Im capable of emotions or anything - but the feelings would be there, and I know from experience that it hurts like a bitch. I'm only human. And I think I probably love Chal more than I have ayone else since China; I need her.

That's very touching, Rana. And I assume you wouldn't be above revenge, if she was killed by a specific person?

Damn that was sad... you really know how to yank the heartstrings!
And I agree; her death was unnecessary. She could have escaped with the rest of the humans and it wouldn't have hurt the story at all.

Thank you! there's a certain art to it, and allowing Frank to have emotions made me feel as if it was a tad out of character for him, but after rereading it I think I did ok
According to my mother, she was 'too much of a groupie' to have been able to live without Frank - if you want my opinion... Bull. Shit. I'm sure she could have just gotten on with it. I personally like to theorise that they were just stunned, and woke up a few hours later, causing Riff to shit himself. It's about all he deserves...

You're welcome.
Yeah. She may have grieved for a while, but she was a tough little thing. She would have come around and rebuilt her life.
