Of the work that I have had time to look at, this one if my favorite. I intend to return to your collection as soon as I get a chance. This one seems to be the most sophisticated of the three that I have commented on. The impact of hi-tech on the old world brings to mind Steam Punk Philosophy. The traditional Zendo seems to be crushed by a new (unknown alloy)form with the internal design of a new kind of Zendo captured within. The parchment and calligraphy are from the past. The foreground lettering captures the Industrial style that bands such as Rammstein have borrowed. I love the conflict, tension and beauty of images from the old and new worlds as they clash yet seem to connect somehow. Yes, it's a dance. It's almost a Post-post modern vision. What do we call this period of art anyway? Post-modern was the day before yesterday. By the way, I love your avatar. It reminds me of the film, Jacob's Ladder. Sorry my avatar is just chaotic. I'm working on something better. I haven't been a member of DA for very long. Thank you.
