So basically I wasn't too fond of the way I'd drawn Hooks before, and I REALLY don't know wtf that ear thing is that Sneasels have. Am I meant to treat it like an ear, or like a feather thing?!So all I've done really is made the face rounder, and changed the feather-like-ear-thing to look more like an actual ear WHILST still keeping some length on it to make Hooks still look male :I God damn it Sugimori.
Also drawing srs Hooks, because I realized I haven't done so yet.

That's true, but the thing is, even though I'm don't usually get hung up over realism, the ear thing in the official design /really/ bugs me... So I just had to make it more ear-like without making it TOO short (which would make it look as if he's female)

It's the tail that I find to be more odd, I always presumed the head one was an ear, but thought the tail ones were three feathers

Okay, well I kinda figured that already, what bothered me was the SHAPE of it. The official artwork makes it awkward to draw as an ear without just going "fuck it" and changing it a lot.
