How did you secure this onto the tree? I would fear it would fall off and break.

She's not secured to the tree at all but she's actually pretty well balanced, so if you're careful about where you put her the needles actually keep her in place. She hasn't fallen out yet, anyway! (Even tho I walked into the tree and knocked out a glass ornament)
