My half of an Art Trade with my DA sisShe asked me to draw her character e16-Sigma the Echidna in her Sonic Riders Outfit.
Now I will admit, I have really liked this character since the days of my old account here on DA.
And I've really been a fan of Crimson's artwork.
However I was not expecting her to want to do an Art Trade with me of all people.
That aside, this was a fun one to do because I was given three different references to work with.
So what I did was simply mash them all together and I really like how it came out.

That being said, I feel like I need to address the elephant in the room.
"How come you did a fullbody full colored picture for an art trade but you're not offering it as a commission?"
The answer to that is really simple.
You see, when it comes to commissions, I don't like making people wait too long or that would make me seem unreliable and doing drawings like these takes a lot of time in MSpaint.
However, when it comes to art trades, I always choose to do my part first before letting the person I'm trading with do theirs.
That way, even though I still don't like keeping people waiting, I don't exactly have a strict time limit placed on myself so it's a little less stressful.
I may open fullbody full colored commissions in the future, but that's only if people are willing to be a little patient with me.

The way you merged the Riders designs is really cool and I love the cell shading you do (I still can't believe you only do this with Paint 
The pose and the expression feel on point as well; Confident and semi-smartass "You'll see, just try to keep up". At least that's the feel I get.
And no worries about the time; I think waiting for awesome art is always worthwhile.

I'm really glad you like it. I tried my best given that MSpaint is all I really work with.I tried to give her a confident, almost cocky pose and expression. I really do love this design, and Sigma as a character. I always have and I really hope to see more of her in the future.
It really makes me happy to know that people are willing to be patient when it comes to me putting out art. And don't worry about the late reply. I know that life gets a little hectic.
As for my part of the trade, if it isn't too difficult, I'd love to see your take on a character I adopted named Mandii the Husky

I do have to draw more of her, I will try to work on that in my next pieces, hopefully I get time to draw and they come out nicely soon
I appreciate the effort put in, it being on MSPaint, and the pose and expression as well.
If you ever think about it, I know Paint Tool SAI has a lot of the same features as MSPaint and it's free. But take that at your own time and desire
Of course; There's no need to rush art, and if you aren't feeling like drawing, there's no way your art will meet your expectations.
The added pressure doesn't help anyone involved so patience is a good thing to keep in mind

I have heard a lot about Paint Tool Sai, but unfortunately I have no idea how to get it. Last time I heard you had to pay for the program.
I don't like being pressured into doing things. Whenever it happens things usually end up going badly and people are disappointed. I try to give people quality art in as little time as possible but that ends with me being burnt out. And there's no need to apologize really.
I had the same reaction when I first saw hee honestly but I still loved her look. All I ask is that you try your best and have fun with it.

I'll always be a huge fan of Sigma and I know how you feel about loving your characters. I have over 70 and I love them all.
I think people find a free download for it somewhere on the internet but I have no idea where. Plus I tried to use GIMP at one point long ago and it was super complicated to use.
At some point I will make those commissions available but only if people are willing to be patient with me.
