Well... ah... I did this on my tablet but I keep forgetting to submit it. It's not easy but I ended up getting a good lion anyway, more like the best I have ever drawn.I used medibang paint pro and autodesk sketchbook pro. Medibang was for the base, autodesk was for the edits and the colouring.

The cave lion is a species of lions that lived in Europe during the ice age and used to hunt and kill mammoth calves and humans. As a matter of fact, this is exactly what it looked like. It had a light-peachish sort of skin.

It was a straight up lion, not even a different species, but in fact an extinct breed of lions. The males didn't have manes though.
I was asking because if my friend anonymousllama428 saw this, he'd lose his mind. He absolutely loves cave lions more than anything! XD

Ohhh.... you could have just said cave lion. And now I'm confused with them again, was a cave lion separate from smilodon or were they the same or were they part of the same family-species thing (I don't know the order properly)

Hmm, it's not realted to smilodon though. smilodon was from N.America and S.America. But the S.American version died before the ice age. Cave lion is a european lion.
