A bit... I kind of did a gradient though too. Wherever/whenever a single hue (like green or pink) I make a darker version of that colour and colour the lines... and I use the airbrush or some paintbrush to blend in eg. the pink to green, but for the eyes, I use a normal solid brush for the black and antennae. (this actually isn't my usual style, I was just experimenting, I usually set the lineart layer on shade or overlay)
