Love your gallery in general, great work! I'm a big SamuraΓ― Jack fan so I may be biased, but I feel this Aku is missing the snaky feel of the original. It was a character capable of taking any shape or form, so constraining him into a relatively standard shape doesn't really work too well for me.
This was quite a challenge that you undertook however, and I do respect your work a lot, so please take this as my attempt to be constructive.

I do see what you mean, where I lost that free-form energy of the original by constraining him to a pretty straight pose and form. Β I'll definitely be sure to keep that in mind, and make sure I keep more of the original feel of the characters I draw. Β Thanks, again! Β I welcome all criticism, and yours is definitely helpful.
