Description
Lostfox (fire) and foundfox (ghost) fighting. Lostfox represents thoughts of depression, self-harm, suicide; foundfox represents the good thoughts.It always seems like the bad thoughts are dominant.
This piece won first place at a local art show.

It's so...stylized and beautiful and violent all at the same time. For some reason it reminds me of that "ukiyo-e" art like [link]
Feels like it should have a background though...not sure what you'd put there..but the white space kind of takes away from the subjects. Maybe just put a pale peachy parchment kind of look behind it? Just to help with the blinding whiteness?

I'd been looking at it for a week trying to decide on a background and I discussed it with my sister but I couldn't figure anything out that would benefit the piece. Plus I'm scared to possibly take away from it if the background skills aren't up to par with that of the foxes. But yes! I may look into experimenting with different backgrounds to help dilute the blinding white. I kind of like it though, cuz it hurts your eyes -- almost a complimenting effect to the violence of the picture. But, I dunno. :3
