Hahaha...I try to always remind myself that art, in general, is viewed as a matter of subjective taste. Proverbial "pooh" throwing as such regarding "art" is usually more of an individual reaction than a collective reaction. C'est la vie.

but the only opinion that matters is your own, if someone don't like your art that's their problem not yours.
I personally don't even read their "complains" even my friends & family agreed that my works are not bad

theres a difference between giving constructive criticism, so the artist can improve, and just being a complete ass and being rude. the "haters" shes referring to is the latter, the commentors who break down an artist's work, and sometimes even confidence, by just remarking negatively (calling it "stupid", "ugly", etc) without giving some sort of proper criticism. sometimes these "haters" just attack ppl's work just because theyre trolls, or because the artwork is on a topic they feel strongly towards or against and theyre trying to force their opinion onto others...instead of just ignoring the work and moving on, they gotta throw a tantrum like a child

well of course ppl has the right to their own opinions, and they should be respected...thats just a given. typically "haters" refer to ppl who hate just because or hate because it's "attacking" their own opinions. thats the beauty of sites like this one, or just in general w/ viewing art or reading books and such, u can ignore what u dont agree w/. problem is some dont and they start drama
