I can learn a lot from this image - what an amazing combination of medium to create something so wonderful! I would suggest perhaps a little greater contrast, but I also understand that colored pencils don't tend to be the most vivid things in the world (or at least when I work with them XD). I am in absolute shock in how those scales are so exactly defined, along with such delicate reflection... you really have a lot of skill with this. How long have you worked with scales? I am curious - I hope to become as good as this in time. Fantastic work!!

Oh thank you very much.
How long have I worked with scales? AS in hw long did I take to finish these scales? Or in time I've been dedicating myself to scales?
WEll, I'll answer both questions In this drawing in particular, I think I took something like 18 hours to complete it.
I work with snakes and scales since 2007. Before that I started practicing but it was always so frustrating
Again thanks for the comment

Wow - 18 hours! I'm impressed with your patience. You certainly are an inspiration for scale rendering. Keep up the fantastic work.
