Description

“It was not their force of will, not their void devilry, not their alien darkness…it was something else.”

“It was that…somehow…from within the derelict horror…they had learned a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing……….and take away its pain.”

WOW! Very different vibes coming from this one I love the use of muted tones and the watercolor effects you gave this. I almost took it for a traditional art piece. I don't know the characters and what the poem alludes to but I assume it has to do with man and aliens living in peace or creating peace to some world? But those tomb stone objects in the back are really cool and love the details the crazy "robot organic alien" thingy. Great coloring and cool to see you're branching into other painterly effects too. Looking good

The long story cut criminally short is that in a very far fictional future we create humanoids designed for war that are monstrous in both appearance and the abilities they wield. These things live in agony for various reasons. Elsewhere, in an unrelated experiment, we send children to a realm outside of reality where they are mutated and touched by a power we cant describe nor define before they are sent back to us. Both the monsters and the children live in labs and neither can be controlled by the authority that created them. But when they are together, they function as a single entity, and best of all, feel complete.

Skip ahead a few hundred thousand years and the monsters and children awake in a new universe run by tribalistic subspecies of what once were humans. All the factions of people, corrupt and awful in different ways. However the paired wretched mistakes of the past were taught to live by a code of honor in tandem in the days of old, and so set out to try and save the decaying new reality they now find themselves in. But it comes at the cost of many lives and perhaps even their sanity.

That is basically where the story of Warframe begins.

Damn...I had no idea THAT was the plot for Warframe. I looked it up and its a game from 2013 for xbox? I wonder why it didn't seem to be a bigger success in the game world? I mean that story alone makes for even a good sci-fi movie plot haha.

Oh its a huge success. Just not on consoles.

It's been in Steam's top 10 for a couple years now without ever dropping out.
