This is cool. The final image sort of reminds me of the giant turtle in Aladdin and the King of Thieves LOL
I would love if you either included a PSD or else made a different tutorial on how to do the underwater lighting. This is definitely a cool tutorial but I would also like to know how to photoshop an image to make it look like it is entirely underwater. Especially since I do not have a camera that has a ability to take pictures underwater (so I can pretend XD)

At what point can you consider this a tutorial when you outright say in the middle of it that you have no idea how to explain the following steps in order to finish the tutorial? That just sounds like laziness on your behalf, and an extreme insult to anyone wishing to learn.

whatever....i'm sure ppl will learn from the half(you speak of) up. the other half is not the main point to the tut. after all each one has their own final result stiles and methods so i didnt think it was necesary. and by the coments i'm receiving i guess your the only one who got "extremelly insulted"

I'm more concerned by the excuse you gave not to include it. Rather than simply concluding the tutorial that is considered the main focus and moving on to finish the image, you had to make a note that you weren't going to continue due to the step by step being far too difficult to explain. It seems an insult to yourself for not having a means of explaining your own procedure, as well as not informing the people looking at the tutorial that 'this is all I wanted to say'.

They took the time to make the damn thing, stop being a little bitch and nit picking at it. The end result and what was done to get it, WASNT THE POINT they walked though the rest of it on HOW to get the under water look... go be a prick somewhere else, jeeze!

The lighting and colors weren't really the focus of the tutorial. And including them would have bogged it down and likely been confusing. It's quite simple to just look up some lighting tutorials if you'd like to work on it, and then it wouldn't drown this tutorial in complexity so much.
