Contest entry for the RaC-Fans /ForgottenRaCSpecies Unappreciated Character Contest. I drew Aphelion, of course! She's one of my very favorite characters in the franchise, even though lots of people don't consider her a real character. I liked her from the start in ToD, but the line that really did me in was in ACiT: "My weapons are still armed. I can make it look like an accident." After that I was done for. She was permanently my favorite.

I've drawn her once before , back in 2009. Even though I haven't drawn her again until now, she's still my favorite c:

Regrettably, there are hardly any references for her zonified form, so I had to take some creative liberties, but I did the best I could. This was also my first attempt with digital painting, which was kind of scary. I've never worked without lineart before, and of course, the first time I decide to try it, it's on a piece as big as this. What is wrong with me?

Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this! Even though it took me ages.
