Not bad. I'm diggin that green and purple background noise there, makes for a great contrast to the central object without being too overbearing. The mods to the lens flare makes a nice touch too.

I really like this. It is a cool effect. If I were you I would try either blending the lens flare layer (if you did it in photoshop) under the background, only on the left side. I think that is a personal thing though. I really like what youve done. Keep trying. I'm adding you to artist watch... I'm gonna keep commenting, although I'm not exactly that experienced either. I got photoshop a week ago...
