I love this - I'm a fan of matt silver (if that makes sense) and bronze mechanical stuff, and this looks really futuristic but ancient and organic at the same time.

Yup do it.. i admit ive been usin git for oa year now, but im so hooked,, from my experince u can create anything u want from solid, psuedo 3d, organic, metalic, real world, and totally alien renders, and totally independent of other fractal or any other GFX program....
