Description
My lab (Pook) would like you to have his llama. I found an old picture of my black lab when he was a puppy. It was very blurry, but was very cute as it caught him in mid-bark when he was trying to get the attention of Princess, my husky. Pook was very orally fixated as a pup and he ate my neighbours waterhouse and once he ate a cell phone, leaving only the flip-up cover. Pook never really liked chew toys, so I would go to the hardware store to buy him a waterhose to chew on. I drew a llama chew toy to honour dA's tradition of giving llamas. I used a gund plush as a reference for this poor specimen, after Pook execised his gums and new teeth.Hope you like my dog, he weighs about 75 lbs now. Yet, he seems less destructive.
all the best
Blair

Thats precious. But at least you can replace hoses and llama plushies. A family pet can never be replaced.

Such a typical Lab ... and he looks so delighted with his handiwork! My pooch made similar short work of his Christmas plush ... but it's okay I didn't give him a Llama - I'm saving those for everyone on here.

Puppies never ever fail to put a smile on my face. ^.^ This one is particularly adorable. Incredible detail in the little guy's fur, and his mischeivous looking face, you've done a wonderful job.
My puppy is just like this; he loves pulling things apart. Every stuffed toy we give him doesn't last long- they all eventually end up in a mess of stuffing. Only it takes him a while, he's only a little fluffball type; not very strong.
And seriously? He ate a cellphone??? D: That's...amazing. Wow.

Thanks,
I took him to the vet, and the x-ray showed he injusted a small amount of plastic, but he was okay, much of the phone must have been strewn over the lawn. Never found the sim card.
hehe.
all the best,
Blair

Wow, well I'm glad he was okay! That's some seriously powerful doggy digestive powers there. I have a friend whose labrador once ate an entire bag of snail bait- the only reason he survived, according to the vets, was because he ate the bag as well!
Thanks.

Metal fence? Wow, not even my cat has tried a metal fence yet. I'm surprised he hasn't.

Awwww. So adorable. My dog went through his chewy phase when he was tiny. Oddly enough, every single toy he destroyed down to the thread....but, the very first toy I got him, a stuffed teddy bear, is still in great condition. For whatever reason, it was spared destruction. And then he got huge. They sure grow up fast. I love this picture!! Brings back lots of fond memories.

Heh, that's why I don't have dogs anymore. My parents were dog-breeder back then and I got sick of them puppies and dogs. Right now, I'm a cat man Labrador puppies still find their way to our heart nevertheless.
