Passion:Darkness falls but lost souls linger
Haunting dreams 'neath distant skies,
Gently swaying leafless branches
Beneath ancient passion lies.
Ears longing for sound
but dark blue silence falls,
Searching, seeking, expecting,
Is it all for naught?
Struggling to breath
engulfed by a seethe of emotion
too powerful to think
strength enough only to act.
Uncertainty settles,
then conviction arises,
Passion takes no repose,
Forever will this sea toil.
A Gentle breeze tickles past...
a green river of song,
forever to be remembered,
the moments that we treasure.
Memory seeps from my veins,
breaking the new day,
trees sway to the beat
that can now be felt 'neath feet.
Sun brightens the doorstep
banishing doubt and fear alike,
Souls jump in ecstasy
and move towards the horizon...
They have found their true passion.
