I’ve been thinking of giving more focus on my other character, Paradoxia, who is, of course, more unique than the fancharacter, Aether. There were a couple of pictures I made of her, all of which were too detailed and complicated, with all the patterns on her body/shell and the wires connecting joints of her arms. To promote her more, I decided to begin by making this “simplified” version of her for simpler drawing.
Paradoxia is a living energy in appearance of a droid/robot constructed on its own power from parts of Aether’s first bike, Luminos, with the power of Artficial Chaos energy, the powerhouse of the bike. More info on her story to come! (Yes, I’ve said it before, and saying it again, I should really get to it this time!
)As for basic description on her appearance, her eyes are made of chromium headlights, with the turn signals still visible where her nose should be. Her head is made of a transparent metal, most similar to glass, in which leaves the 4-cylinder engine inside exposed. Her body is red glossy paint, and the right arm can transform into this Chaos-like arm weapon or back to normal arm at will. There are 2 gem-like emblems on her body, one under her neck and a larger one in the middle of her body, both glowing a vivid sky blue color. Those ‘wings’ in the back are hovering units.

You know, when I first saw this, I thought she was a Scizor from Pokemon.
A forbidden hedgechidna/machine love would spawn between them, just like in those wa-wa-wa-wacky animes.
(Btw, I loved her complicated design too, but I can totally understand why you wouldn't want to draw her like that constantly.)

I've just searched for Scizor's picture, and you're right! She does have the silhouette and similarities to that Pokemon. 
Yeah, they did spend time together, but before she came to life.
So uhhh, well, Aether does care for her, but love? I dunno, she seems more like a daughter to him, she's his creation, after all.
(Yeah, I took a long time with that one picture. I've never taken so much time drawing a single character before or after that.

There's probably no way that we could know everything that might be similar to a character design.
I mean, I have three fan-characters (Sonic-wise) I've been meaning to post here for quite some time, but... I was worried that someone would think my tanuki character was a rip-off of Marine and my shrew character was a rip-off of Silver (because she's psychic [ironically, she started out as a mink... LIKE Silver!]), and I wondered if they and my cobra character looked like someone else's fan-character. Considering I created them during the age of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, I guess I should try to just post them up anyway, huh?

That's indeed very true.
The choice to post it up or not is up to you, but if you are to post up, I think it's best to notify that you created the characters quite a long time ago. So you've had a character since back then? Those old Sonic comics inspired you too, I believe?^^ I do know this person with a cobra fan-character, maybe you'd like to check out? [link]
Aether might need to build an extended fuel unit for her, wouldn't be so difficult, though.

Yep.
I was planning on doing that anyway. But it was the games that inspired me, not the comics. ^^ You can see sketches of both my tanuki and shrew characters in my scraps somewhere (although, I've changed them both again since those sketches appeared), but I've never released my cobra one to the public.
And... crap, I kind of wished I didn't look at that, since my cobra character is red too (a sunburned red, I would call it). But, mine has an entirely different outfit, legs and no breasts (I can't stand boobs on reptiles XP), and well... I'll show you someday. XP

Okay.^^ I searched your gallery and saw them both in that sketch dump picture. Mirage looked cool already.^^ Bandit looked cute, eager and playful there, but might be something people might say similar to Marine.

I'm still revamping both of them, not too much, though. Just, small braids and tiny glasses for Mirage and a different fur color for Bandit. I tend to revamp most of my characters constantly.
