Turned out quite ok i guess....render made using C4D and the rest is photoshop work

ps: Its made to suit my desktop wallpaper of 1280x1024 so if u have a desktop with the same or lesser resolution, feel free to use it

I like the idea, really. But there's room for a lot of improvements.
The blurred brushing is something I don't understand, it doesn't even work with the render. Another thing is the render. Since you incorporated the dragon's head into it, the right part of the render should be replaced with some other render or texture so it doesn't look the same. It's a kind of odd feeling it brings.
I like the background work and the dragon head, but you're missing the overall feeling about this piece.

The colors and 3D are nice. The dragonhead could be incorporated a lot better, the colors are off, the way the 3D and the head are "blended", if you want to call it that.., in to eachother is just crap, definatly work on that. The brush work on the left is alright, needs a bit more detail though and it's a bit too white. The burshed part in the bottomright doesnt look good. And last but not least, take some time looking over your piece, try to fix all the little mistakes, such as hard layer lines that havent been erased. Some not so crisp lines on the render. And finish it off with a better typeface.
Im not a jerk, just naming things you can improve on and that are important. Overall it's alright.

I see that now. Especially by the dragon, and the hidden mountain/cliff/side of the cavern in the background. Its still a really nice image nonetheless.
