Description
I was continuing on with basic shapes. Now i was making cubes. I think the materials are so cool, especially on the floor imho.Related content

This is a piece that is just "as I want it": simple, somewhat abstract, and clear.
Considering it's just cubes, the modeling isn't much to talk about, and the positioning is done by rigid body dynamics, am I right?
The textures, lighting, and rendering however are just brilliant. I especially like the blur effect (don't know if I should call it "Depth-of-Field") off to the right.
All in all, it's a brilliant, simple picture. Nicely done!

I take it you're a C4D user, then?
You're very welcome

You're still welcome xD
Thought so ^^ Don't know of any other 3D software which utilizes "tags" rather than attributes or nodes xD

I cant remember exactly now and im not at my home pc now which has c4d on but i used Global Illumination of course and i think i used the sky object to do the lighting.

very cool! Some motion blur would maybe make it look more dynamic. Nevertheless, its a very cool "shot"

i was using particle emitter plus mograph cloner object, plus rigid body tag, etc. so i wasn't positioning them manually...

the Rigid Body tag adds dynamics in the new Mograph 2 module that comes with cinema 4d 11.5. Previous versions don't have Rigid Body.
