of course... gingerbread men don't throw black ink pallets at you when they're trying to get your undivided attention and lure you somewhere far away from innocent bystanders. They probably throw scones... with jam & cream... mmm...
- Squid's left hand here looks bad. but have changed it already.
- Squid's likely shouting to where Ohm is ready and waiting with a trap.
- The creature started out as a rabid panda monster but ended up looking like a horrible rat.
- and yeah... if Ohm & Squid had a comic or something it would be called 'Slightly Magic'.

In my opinion it's a tree-badger. It's the first thing that came to mind for some reason...
I like the movement in Squid's pose, 'tis pretty awesome. And "Slightly Magic" seems most appropriate for the two of them.

You know, Squid actually seems delighted to be in trouble! As if he was more than glad to be that creature's "bait" so that he could lead it into Ohm's trap. Quite the daredevil, isn't he?
Oh, and I might be wrong, but is that the little "Rabbit-on-the-Moon" that I see in the sky near the creature's tail? I find that incredibly amusing, and a sweet touch, too.
