Description
NPC Type: PrimaryAssociated Player Character: Quetzal
Name: Abigail Smith
Nicknames: Abby
Age: 67
Physical Age: 16
Height: 5'1
Hair: Strawberry Blonde
Eyes: Brown
Faction: Disciple
Though at first torn between wanting to return home to her parents and being guilt-ridden about the deaths of her siblings, she has become resigned with being in Sybal Heim, choosing to try and make it a new home for herself.
Occupation: Shopowner (Flowers)
Sybal Form: Hummingriffin
Abigail's sybal form is a small, brightly covered griffin-like creature with a small ribbon tied loosely around it's neck. It has forward-facing eyes like a bird of prey, four wings, and four small four-toed feet that it uses as hands. It's wingspan is 12" and it's small stature makes it's voice high-pitched.
Sybal Power: Flower Whispering
This is the ability for Abigail to "whisper" to flowers and get them to move short distances on their own. It is a rather weak ability, only affecting flowering plants the size of a bush and smaller, but it can also affect rootless/cut flowers.
Docile or Feral: Docile
Abigail is much the same day and night, cheerful and friendly, so she remains in control.
Personality: Abigail is a naturally upbeat and positive person, choosing to believe in the good of everyone, and loves to make friends with everyone she meets. She is an orderly person and hates messes, but will never speak a harsh word against those that do, instead trying to teach them to clean up after themselves.
History: Born in 1827, Abigail's childhood was mostly spent in crowded city dwellings with her five brothers and sisters. As the eldest, it often fell to her to take care of her siblings, but she never hated having to do so. In 1843, her family left the city in a mass exodus alongside countless others on a journey to Oregon on what is now known as the Oregon Trail. However, during that treacherous journey, the wagon carrying Abigail and her siblings was knocked over while fording a river, sending everything within tumbling into the waters. Though Abigail managed to save herself by clinging to debris, she felt the loss of her siblings keenly and blamed herself. This may or may not have led to her being unable to find the wagon train after climbing out of the river, but her survivor's guilt was definitely a contributing factor in her arrival in Sybal Heim, a longing for home and family while also blaming herself for a loss of home and family.
Since her arrival, Abigail has made a new home for herself as a shopowner, selling her wares and happily talking with everyone she meets. This is how she eventually meets and befriends Quetzal, who had just started out as a woodcarver.
After she and Quetzal met, Abigail began insisting on the newcomer setting up her wares outside of Abigail's shop, and essentially forced herself into Quetzal's life whether Quetzal wanted to be friends with her or not. Though it hasn't been very long, Abigail has become a soft spot in Quetzal's heart, since she is the first person to succeed in getting past Quetzal's prickly exterior
Additional Info: This is out-of-character knowledge, but the reason she keeps one eye covered with hair is that it was severely injured during her accident prior to coming to Sybal Heim. She is ashamed of the scars and is blind in that eye, thus she keeps it covered.

Aw, thank you! The other idea I had for her sybal form was that of a dryad/tree creature, but I liked this one better because it really shows her personality.
