Quetzal had been suspicious of the man dressed as a staff member of the estate even before he ran. He had been shifty-eyed, keeping a white-knuckled grip on the leather satchel full of stiff pages and evading questions put to him where he had been when the masked invaders had rushed the estate. Anyone else would've accepted his hesistance as being afraid of the situation. But Quetzal somehow knew that wasn't all--and when he ran, she was after him like a flash, leaping after him before he could get to the end of the hall. Behind her, Quetzal heard Carrie call out her name, but she was already pressed against the man's back, her momentum forcing him to stumble forward and topple to the ground.

For the Mettle and Metal event in

As frustrating as this was to work on, I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out in the end.
