but one last thing. depending on the direction of shading, and light, how do you do the direction of the shine in the eyes? That one always confused me.

Well, the anime eyes I draw have two shines as you can see. The larger shine is in the left, closer to where the light source is coming from. But some anime artists don't add eye shine at all.
And I sometimes add only one shine on the eye (closer to the light again).
Um... And I also added lighter green on the eyes, because that part of them is ligher.
Atleast that's how I think it shoud be And I can't find any eye shine tutorials in DA to make sure
But the eyes in your pictures look really good.
