True, but Sonic is not something to turn into a hack'n slash unless you wanna make another Black knight. DW can work, but it's usual design makes it very slow paste and boring to most people, which will turn people off from the game. I have not problem with a Sonic fighting or action game, but a better design scheme, or template of one would be better. Something like those Marvel Alliance games from last generation would do nicely.

i watched the youtube series "Sonic spitball" by Shaymay where he gave his own 2 cents on 3d sonic games.
and he actually came up with a game concept i'd TOTALLY wanna see exist. granted i have my criticisms base don my own taste, but even sitll most everything he suggested was pretty cool. i highly recoomend looking it up...

That's the closest you're going to get. Dare I say this game is better at emulating Sonic then freedom planet. Freedom Planet only emulated classic gameplay and character design. Hover emulated adventure gameplay, character style, and attitude. The music is even more fitting with a Sonic game then Freedom Planet's OST.

No, Colors was to please Nintendo fanboys, same with Generations, for the ones acting like they were classic fans. Generations was decent but lacking compared to MANY other games. Not even touching Colors. Far as pleasing fans, anything from Sonic 2 to Black Knight. Sonic 4 Episode 2 was good, but noticed it got ignored when people spent so much time bitching about how the first one needed to be fixed. They did it and didn't say shit.

Only the Nintendo fanboys are the ones asking for Sonic to be bought by Nintendo the fans I talk too only believes Nintendo will make the problem with Sonic worst since he already have a game that basically show what would happen if Sonic was in Mario land. The real Nintendo fans don't see Nintendo as someone that can fix the problem with Sonic since a lot of them can smell Nintendo's bullshit with selling them games basis on gameplay alone which made of been good for the 80's and early 90's but in 2016 gameplay alone isn't gonna fly.
