Description Do what you want with it here: weknowmemes.com/generator/meme…

The meme is a response to this stamp: vertekins.deviantart.com/art/S…

The reasons stated are so blatantly stupid that I really don't need to point it out to anyone with a brain that the stamp was just another OP for the user to senselessly complain about a long gone cartoon, and I think it's just because people still praise it(for good reason though), hence the "overrated" statement.

(There is zilch that is even vaguely original or exceptional concerning his villainy and evilness compared to other saturday morning cartoon villains. And villains of his type are so overdone that nowadays, they're prone to parody.)
Yeah, maybe it's because that's what Villains are made to do, be evil. XD
Let's not forget he's one of the few who actually succeeded in his ambition, he just had Sonic to deal with all after the fact. Screw the haters, his praises are well warranted.

Satam is the proof of a good show when you don't try to make everything subtle and Watered down, and Boom is proof of when you do. Also, NTO being subtle and watered down is what made Sonic popular above all other video game characters like him and Mario, Mickey Mouse being one of them.

What I'm not seeing any proof of, is how I'm wrong.

I mean liking(or even disliking) for the villain for their own nature, not what YOU want them to be. The problem is that you have a straight up and illogical bias against villains who are obvious, though, that's never been a reason to dislike a villain.

"because he did win maximillion's trust."
That's not being subtle, that's being deceptive and tricking someone, same as he did with Knuckles in Sonic 3.

my robotnik would:
be voiced by jim cummings.
have the sonic boom design.
be dastardly, but still very charming and funny, like magneto or david xanatos.
be very diabolical, and psycotic, but still be human.
have understandable motives and a sad backstory.

william023 In reply to ??? [2015-05-10 22:34:19 +0000 UTC]

honestly, satam robotnik did take over, which was impressive, but after that, he rarely fighted sonic, and when he did, he rarely lasted long, honestly, i like his voice, he was good fun and creepy, but he really needed to be more 2-faced and diabolical. sonic adventure, and 2d games robotnik where vastly supirior. satam robotnik just needed more of a backstory, and personality.

πŸ‘: 1 ⏩: 1

Psyco-The-Frog In reply to william023 [2015-05-11 00:38:51 +0000 UTC]

He didn't need to fight Sonic. Satam was it's own thing, not another imagining of the classics games.

When does robotnik ever had competent lackeys? Aside from a few in the archie comics, Snively actually getting the kill on him and being the only successful "StarScream" I know of, and Sleet from Underground to some extent, better then any others outside of the archie comics I can think of.

He should turn Bunny to His side or make a Deadly Robotic Warrior or hire a Bounty Hunter that is skilled in Tracking and Manipulation that would fight Sonic and His Friends for IvoΒ

He was turning Bunny to his side, Sonic stopped it. Robotnik did have a deadly robotic warrior, and Sonic trashed it. What bounty hunter would he have been able to hire, and someone who actually exists in the show?
