Description
Another title would be: Dimitri gets fragged.or gibbed/whatever XD.
So, I found the Experimental MIRV while doing some bobblehead collecting...
I don't like it very much

(For those not in the know, the MIRV is the same as the game's mini nuke gun, the Fat man, except it fires 8 nukes. At once. It's... very dangerous to use XD)

I don't think that patched it that good(or else I wouldn't have 2 Euclid C-Finder's). Nah, I just think that no one's made a glitch for it yet. I want Raul and Booner, but all I can have I raul for now... :\

i'm not a fan of that weapon either, not really any big gun...but i do like the set the mininuke out and snipe it from as far as i can...always good in a crowd...lol.

But Charon kept getting killed in the blast, too, so back into the locker it went >>;.

There was this one place that I tested it out at, it was the area where there was a newspaper or comic making shop or some mess. But there were a lot of cars and well....a lot of super mutants, just to let you know if you want your game to crash, go there. Tons of cars explode 8D

If it's the comic book place, I've been there and accidentally exploded those cars. Or maybe it was the Overlord with his Gatling laser. Either way, all I know was I fighting muties, then the next moment my party was caught in the middle of car explosions XD;
Ugh, the crashing though.. The PS3 froze up so many times while doing the "Who dare wins' quest. I think I put over 8 hours into that one for about 2-2.5 hours of gameplay. Sooooo frustrating. I was glad when it was over XD.

I wasn't even running a quest, I was just fooling around looking for books;; Luckily it was just me that got caught up in it, and I survived, SOMEHOW. But it was one of those moments when I was like "You know, why didn't I notice those cars?" Then it took like an hour more for me to get out of that area.....jeez, so many times I have done that on accident. It was especially frustrating when a raider aimed for a car that I was near when I was at a drive in. I didn't even know that they would aim for the cars! D:> Luckily, my Xbox didn't freeze. But in New Vegas all the cars are already exploded, but if you tip over a bike they explode DB>

Ahh the MIRV...
After I found that thing, I turned on godmode and LITERALLY spent an hour carpet-bombing Springvale with it.
Useless in actual combat, but Epic as hell to screw around with.

I love that thing just for the mass destruction it causes... on weak, defenseless villagers. I walk into Megaton with it and go into the middle of town then shoot it straight up. If it kills me I reload the autosave, and I do that if it doesn't... but its funny to see all the other people blown sky high, literally to the top limit of the map.

Think Nuclear Grenade Shotgun. best used in Carpet bombing scenarios. aka, wiping the existence of enemy camps the fuck out. From the other side of the tristate area.

I didn't pay attention to the amount of Ammo that it fired at all, and when I decided to use it it was on the Super Mutant Behemoth in the capital building, the White House, with the Talon company...
Well I'm pretty sure I killed them along with my Lone Wanderer xD

I agree with Hoshiko-demon. I'd definitely recommend it, and now that New Vegas is out, it's pretty cheap to acquire XD.

I was just planning to mess around, fire off a couple of shots to experiment with this.. epic gun, then reload my game with mini nuke count intact. I never got to fire it more than once at a time, though. Hell, I don't even know if it killed the two overlords I kept going after. XD

i've only ever used it once, on a bahimoth that randomly spawned... i think it may have been a glitch but seeing that massive SOB getting turned into a pile of gore was worth the amo a blew on it

Ack XD. I think my EC Pack count is about 4000, right now, so I'm doing good in that regard. I recently got that trophy and used my Gatling laser against them (I suppose it helped that the one in the capital building couldn't get out of the rotunda, and the one by the abraxo plant froze in place post-artillery strike XD). Anyway, it took them down pretty quick with back up firepower from Butch and Charon.

i use god mode before i use that thing with the mods ive got i have to fight up to at least 30 mutants at once. Still dont get why they're mostly armed with hunting rifles, seems a tad bit wimpy for them

In the original Fallout games the Hunting Rifle was actually one of the better weapons. A lot of Super Muties had them in those games, and that held over to FO3.
