A very good concept and composition, but the barcode breaks the whole thing.

Let me reconsider this.... eeeermm... no. You should have put something even more abstract in it. The barcode is really weird thou. But if you put the barcode in the same colour as the tree then it would be good.

i love the barcode... adds so many senarios to make up in our minds... we think immediately why? Then we can make up our own anti consumerist complaints

Ok me again, looking good...

loose the barcode

try using more than one set of brushes on the drippings for more randomness, you can use that tip for about anything...

keep it up

dont lose the barcode, man random, perfect, it almost feels like board logo or vinyle. great pic.... fave

Completely agree with NRE. The barcode is rather random. Apart from that its a great piece...

PS, remember to credit everything... not just the brushes, but other images you may have used before. You can get banned if you make the mistake of not giving credit to someone Its really not worth it

I dont care if it is generic or what, but i think that kicks some serious ass for just getting in to PS. The only thing I really encourage is that you get rid of that rediculous bardcode off the tree.

BTW: Suggestion is to LAYER EVERYTHING. Never only have a jpg... as a digital artist you have the ability that traditional artists dont have, and that is the allmighty PSD form, always save stuff in PSD so you can go back and edit, release images for DA in JPG and if you want the highest in quality for personal use save as PNG or BMP
