Description On November 17th, 2007, two very different movies were released in theaters: Casino Royale and Happy Feet. Happy Feet earned more money in tickets than Casino Royale, which was supposed to be a gimme, given the Bond franchise. (Sure, it was shown in more theaters, and thus earned more per theater, but they don't give you those stats on the news.) To make matters worse, Happy Feet won the Academy Award for Best Animated Picture, while Bond hasn't even been nominated for an Oscar since 1982. And that really burns my cannoli.

So I decided to vent my frustrations through a comic. I guess I feel better now. Oh, and the last panel is a reference to the film's absence of Q and his gadgets. That wasn't a problem for me, however. Could've helped the film's performance, though.

Edit 3/13/2008: About a year later, I actually colored the comic! Stats provided by Box Office Mojo [link] .

I heard Happy Feet actually wasn't that good. xD I'll take Bond over penguins any day. <3

I'm sure they're both good in their own way. (Keep in mind I would never EVER admit that about Shrek BTW.) But yeah, it's Bond all the way for me! My #1 fandom? Most likely. P.S. Thanks for faving!

I could not place a number one fandom for me. I'm like.. WAY into too many things. WAY TOO MANY. xD

But I loves them all. And the Bond-verse, well, is jumping up there. xD

And you're welcome! I had to. I really, honestly had to. Poor 007. Daniel Craig's sexiness should've beaten those penguins!

Heh. Neat idea.

Hey, is it just me, or are all movies nowadays either real-life or CG? I mean, sure, CG *looks* cool, and it may be easier to do (I think), but would it *kill* them to do it the old-fashioned way once in a while?

I'm rambling. My apologies.

I know what you mean. I was watching a rerun of Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards, when I saw trailers for two upcoming shows, and guess what! They're both computer-animated! One of them's based on their Barnyard movie from last year, and the other from their Tak trilogy of video games. Does still anyone care about either those franchises? No one who's on deviantART, that's for sure! And the worst part of it is, they *still* won't tell me when season 3 of Avatar's gonna begin! Gah!
